The UK financial markets are badgering the government for their own failings. It is not up to a government to help financial markets when they’re in trouble. Companies that are voluntarily traded in the financial markets for profits the government and country do not see are supposed to be financially solvent. They markets are supposed to provide income to the government not the other way round.
